### The fee, in CartPanda's terms

The Basics plan is $0 for affiliates or pre-launch. Paid plans add a monthly fee plus 8.5% to 9.9% of each sale and $1 per sale on the US pricing page. CartPanda Pay international processing uses separate rates (from 8.5% + R$1.50) and a rolling reserve.

##### What works

* One-page and three-step checkouts, with order bumps and one-click upsells after the purchase
* CartPanda is the company on the buyer's charge, with a published order lookup, refund windows and a phone number
* Basics is free for affiliates and for a store before launch, and the homepage says you can open an account with no credit card
* The US pricing page lists the monthly fee and the per-sale rate on the page itself

##### What to watch

* Paid plans add a monthly fee on top of a high percentage of each sale
* If the buyer gets a refund, CartPanda keeps the platform transaction fee
* CartPanda Pay holds a reserve, and the contract sets the number of days until a payout
* Trustpilot buyers report fast refunds and also partial or refused ones
* A Capterra review calls the features buggy, and vendor reviews outside CartPanda's own site are thin

### CartPanda fee questions

Is this a per-sale network fee?

The note above is the monthly plan and the processor rate CartPanda publishes. The other rows are networks, and they charge on a sale.

What is the catch with CartPanda's pricing?

The monthly fee sits on top of a percentage of each sale. If the buyer gets a refund, CartPanda keeps its transaction fee. CartPanda Pay also keeps a rolling reserve. The affiliates are CartPanda's own.
