### The fee, in SamCart's terms

Core is $79 a month or $710 a year. Pro is $199 a month or $1,790 a year. Yearly billing is 25% off. Order bumps, one-click upsells, upgrades, A/B testing, Subscription Saver and the Affiliate Center are on Pro. SamPay is 2.9% + 30¢ with no added platform fee on SamPay. Tax collection is 50 bps on Core and 35 bps on Pro. Dedicated Live Support is $19 a month.

##### What works

* Affiliates earn nothing until you set a rate, and the last link the buyer clicks gets the credit.

##### What to watch

* The affiliate program, bumps, upsells and third-party processors are on Pro
* You export a CSV and send affiliate payments by PayPal MassPay, check or another method you choose
* The terms make the vendor responsible for tax, and SamPay runs on Stripe Connect
* Operators say the monthly software subscription no longer pays off for a single business
* A Trustpilot post describes a renewal charge after a low-priced course

What is the catch with SamCart's pricing? 

You approve each affiliate and pay them from an exported file. Order bumps, upsells and the affiliate program are on Pro. You handle sales tax, and the subscription still bills in a month with no sales.
