Affiliate network approval checklist: ready to submit?

Tick what the offer already has. The panel lists what still blocks the sale, affiliates, or payouts.

Updated 2026-10-20. The rules come from each network's seller pages.

You are about to ask a network to approve an offer, and someone on their side will open the pitch before a buyer can. ClickBank, Digistore24 and JVZoo review that page. BuyGoods decides who may apply. CopeCart's published requirement on this page is identity verification. Each item comes from that network's seller pages and help articles. The methodology page explains how this site checks those sources.

Blocks affiliates

  • You still publish the marketplace listing yourself, after the fee in the ClickBank summary below.

Worth knowing

  • Recruiting still needs a JV page, a commission and a test of the affiliate link.

The panel lists missing items taken from the seller rules each network publishes. It does not predict an approval.

Once the offer is approved, see what you keep on one sale.

What each network blocks

A missing page stops the sale, a missing listing stops affiliates, and a missing identity check stops the payout. A recurring offer uses the same checklist as a one-time purchase. Pay dates, once a sale exists, are on the payout timeline.

ClickBank

Sale. You need a product image, a live pitch page and a thank-you page before ClickBank accepts the submission. The pitch page has to be on a domain registered to you. Review usually takes 3 to 5 business days, and the status shows Pending Review, then Active or Action Required.

Affiliates. A $49.95 activation fee applies after the first product is approved. You add the offer to the marketplace yourself. Promotional copy can be denied.

Payout. Payout dates are on the timeline linked above.

Digistore24

Sale. Every product goes through a compliance review before it can go live. The review checks sales page quality, legality, affiliate materials and refund terms. Standard approval takes 1 to 3 business days. Some supplement or high-ticket offers take longer. English sales and thank-you pages need a return period of at least 60 days.

Affiliates. A public marketplace entry is a separate step from product approval. The public FAQ explains the review. Marketplace publishing happens in the account, after approval.

Payout. Pay dates for Digistore24 are on that same page.

JVZoo

Sale. Use Add product. Adding the product only to the launch calendar skips compliance. The sales page may use only JVZoo buy buttons. A written disclaimer is required. Reviewers need a login for a membership area or for the software.

Affiliates. The setup guide treats that page and the product record as one review.

Payout. JVZoo pay timing is on that page too.

BuyGoods

Sale. Entry is by recommendation, referral, or a sales record you can show.

Affiliates. Affiliates see the offer after that entry is accepted.

Payout. What you are paid, and when, is on the linked page above rather than the BuyGoods homepage.

CopeCart

Sale. The KYC article outlines the requirement for this network.

Affiliates. That article covers identity verification.

Payout. You can start selling before verification, up to 500 EUR. Checkouts pause if KYC is unfinished within 30 days, or within 72 hours after that cap.

ClickBank: the pages the help center names

Before you can finish adding a product, ClickBank's add-product article asks for the product image, the pitch page and the thank-you page. After you submit, the status shows Pending Review until the product is marked Active or Action Required. The ClickBank summary lists how long the review usually takes.

Creating your first product requires your own website on a unique registered domain. Free hosted sites are not supported. That article also requires this paragraph on every pitch page, so buyers do not treat ClickBank as endorsing the product:

"ClickBank is the retailer of products on this site."

"CLICKBANK® is a registered trademark of Click Sales, Inc., a Delaware corporation located at 1444 S. Entertainment Ave., Suite 410 Boise, ID 83709, USA and used by permission."

"ClickBank's role as retailer does not constitute an endorsement, approval or review of these products or any claim, statement or opinion used in promotion of these products."

On the thank-you page, clarify that the charge will originate from ClickBank. Buyers otherwise look for the seller's name on the card statement. The footer uses two lines, one for product support and one for orders: "For Product Support, please contact the seller HERE" and "For Order Support, please contact ClickBank HERE".

The sell page says the internal review covers product materials, the sales funnel, marketing copy and price points, under FTC, FDA and ClickBank rules. Promotional guidelines add that advertising, sales copy and product messaging stay subject to approval. The getting-started article says chat support cannot approve products. The compliance team does. After the first approval you pay the fee in the ClickBank summary. A rejected product incurs no fee. The offer stays out of the marketplace until you add it in account settings. The ClickBank review has the rest of the vendor terms.

Digistore24: the review, then the listing

Digistore24's FAQ says every new product goes through a compliance review before it can go live. The review checks sales page quality, legality, affiliate materials, and whether buyers can see the refund terms. Standard turnaround is in the Digistore24 summary, including the longer review for some supplement or high-ticket offers.

English-language sales pages and thank-you pages follow the return rule in that same summary. The sentence is from Digistore24's criteria for product sales pages. That article is where the return rule comes from. A public marketplace entry is its own step after the product review. Read the Digistore24 review for what happens after the product is live.

JVZoo: add the product, then the page

JVZoo's setup guide is the source for these items. The compliance review begins when you add the product. The launch calendar is a separate listing, and adding a product there does not start it. A PayPal or Stripe button beside the JVZoo button breaks the rule in the guide. Reviewers need a login that opens the membership area or the software.

JVZoo's disclaimer article says you must include a written disclaimer on that page, and the company emails vendors when it is missing. The setup guide does not give a review timeframe. The JVZoo review records the approval window from the homepage.

BuyGoods and CopeCart: a different front door

BuyGoods describes itself as a curated platform for experienced affiliates and vendors. Entry is by recommendation, referral, or proven track record. The form splits that into a referral box and a sales-record box. The BuyGoods review goes further into how vendors get in.

CopeCart's KYC article is the source this page uses for that network. You can start selling before verification is finished, up to the cap in the CopeCart summary. After that cap, or after the time limit in that summary, checkouts pause. That article covers identity verification and the sales cap. After verification, read the CopeCart review for the rest of the account.

A one-time course on ClickBank

A clipboard with five checklist rows, three marked with solid squares and two still empty, beside a closed folder

Set the form to ClickBank and a digital product. Tick the product image and a pitch page on your own domain, the page after checkout, a visible price, the retailer disclaimer, the line about the card charge, and the support footer from the ClickBank section. Leave the marketplace checkbox unchecked. The panel should say the submission is complete. Affiliates see the offer only after you add it, once the fee in the ClickBank summary is paid.

Then send the product to ClickBank. The status stays Pending Review until ClickBank marks it Active or Action Required. How long that usually takes is in the ClickBank summary. Then pay the fee in that summary and add the listing. Approval is still ClickBank's decision.

What vendors still run into after the pages look finished

A ClickBank applicant described an account disabled for security reasons the company would not explain, before a product review started. That closure is separate from an Action Required note on a pitch.

A Digistore24 vendor reported six marketplace entries marked approved that were still not public. That matches the Digistore24 summary, where the product can be approved and still stay out of the public marketplace. When that page has no written disclaimer, JVZoo emails the vendor and the product comes back for another pass. That is the disclaimer box in the JVZoo group.

My take

Before submitting to ClickBank, I would put the required lines on the pitch and on the page buyers see after they pay, because the help center prints those lines in full. On BuyGoods I would open with a referral from someone already selling there. On CopeCart I would finish identity verification while the first sales are still under the cap in the CopeCart summary.

Frequently asked questions

How long does product approval take on ClickBank, Digistore24 and JVZoo?
ClickBank and Digistore24 print their review times in the summaries above. The JVZoo setup guide does not. The JVZoo review has the homepage figure.
Does approval mean affiliates can promote immediately?
On ClickBank you still publish the listing after approval, and the fee in that summary comes first. Digistore24 treats a public marketplace entry as its own step after product approval.
Do I need a JV page before approval?
ClickBank asks for an image, a pitch page and a thank-you page before you can finish adding a product. The page affiliates read comes into play when you start recruiting.
What if my account is disabled before I submit a product?
Vendors have reported new ClickBank accounts closed for security reasons the company would not explain, before any product review. The compliance team is the only desk that approves a product. These articles give no steps for a security hold.
