Vendor fees
Hotmart fees: what a vendor pays
Nothing is due until a sale is approved. Then Hotmart takes a percentage plus a fixed amount, and withdrawals in Brazilian reais have their own fee.
The fee, in Hotmart's terms
No monthly or setup fee. Fees come off an approved sale only. A USD sale above $15 is 9.9% + $1.00. A USD sale of $15 or less is 9.9% + $0.10. A BRL sale above R$10 is 9.9% + R$2.49. A BRL withdrawal needs at least R$2.00 and costs R$1.99. Cross-currency purchases follow the conversion rules in the fee article.

What works
- You can open an account and publish a product before anyone buys.
- Course hosting, checkout and affiliate management are in one account.
- Creators outside Brazil can turn on a faster release for most of each sale.
- Hotmart's legal page names the company for a sale inside Brazil, a dollar sale between US residents, and every other order.
What to watch
- Brazilian credit-card sales follow the standard holding period before you can withdraw the funds.
- Faster schedules withhold part of each sale for refunds and chargebacks.
- A suspension can leave a balance on screen that does not get paid.
- Seller reviews on Capterra and Trustpilot describe earnings that never reached the bank.
