CartPanda review: the charge on your card, and what vendors pay for the checkout
A CartPanda or Cartpanda Inc. charge means CartPanda sold you the supplier's product. If that name surprised you, start with CartPanda's order lookup. Vendors get a customizable checkout with order bumps and upsells, a monthly plan, a high per-sale rate, a reserve on payouts, and CartPanda's own affiliate program.
You saw CartPanda or Cartpanda Inc. on your card after you bought a supplement or a course sold under a different brand. CartPanda's buyer and seller terms say that when the order is completed, CartPanda takes ownership of the supplier's product and sells it to you. Your bank shows CartPanda. The ad showed the supplier's brand.
See your order. Look up the order with that checkout email before you open a dispute at your bank.
A BuyGoods charge works the same way. The name on the statement belongs to the company that ran checkout.

CartPanda's refund help article says a charge from Cartpanda, Cartpanda Inc., or cartpanda.com has to be handled through CartPanda support. Use cartpanda.com or the order link above. Another domain is another company.
- Find the order. Open orders.cartpanda.com and enter the checkout email. You can change a subscription from that same page.
- Copy the order ID. It is listed there, and support will ask for it.
- Contact buyer support once. The buyer email and the US phone are in the customer service section below. The seller address on that page is for vendors.
- Use the published window. For a physical product, the refund policy allows 30 days from the order date or the delivery date, whichever is later. Digital products can be refunded within 7 days of the charge. The same windows cover subscription charges.
- Wait before you call the bank. CartPanda's chargeback help article notes that sending several requests, or opening a bank dispute at the same time, can delay resolution.
Cancelling a subscription stops future charges. Amounts already paid remain on the card until a refund is approved. Ask for that refund as its own request.
If you return a physical product because you changed your mind, CartPanda may charge a restocking fee of up to 20% of the product price, where the law allows it and the fee was disclosed before you paid. Buyers in the EU, the EEA, the UK and Hawaii skip that restocking fee under section 5.1. On Trustpilot, some buyers say they were offered only part of the price back after they asked within that window. Those comments are quoted later.
Is CartPanda legit?
Yes. Cartpanda Inc. publishes terms, a refund policy, a help center and a contact page, and the refund help article tells you to bring a CartPanda charge to CartPanda. The refund policy describes Cartpanda Inc. as a Delaware corporation. The site footer gives the address 555 Republic Dr, Plano, Texas 75074.
The terms put the role in one sentence: "Cartpanda serves as the merchant of record for all transactions on its platform under these terms, acquiring ownership of the Supplier's Products when the Buyer completes an order on Cartpanda's website." You can have a genuine charge and still want the product returned. The supplier made the product. To request the refund, open orders.cartpanda.com and email the buyer address in the customer service section.
What is CartPanda for vendors?
For a vendor, CartPanda is a hosted checkout, a payment product called CartPanda Pay, and a back office. The homepage is written for supplements, online courses and e-commerce, and it says the setup covers 150+ countries. You can open an account without a credit card. The homepage says so beside the account button, and the screenshot at the top of this page shows that note.
The checkout overview shows a one-page layout and a three-step layout, an order bump on the order form, and a one-click upsell once payment is done. CartPanda says an order bump can increase average order value by about 14%. That 14% figure comes from CartPanda's checkout page.
CartPanda runs checkout and payment processing. An open affiliate marketplace is a directory of offers plus a pool of affiliates. Digistore24's pricing page names CartPanda in its competitor table and describes CartPanda's affiliate program as smaller than Digistore24's 125,000+ affiliates. The monthly plans are in the pricing section below. If you need a large pool of affiliates, read the Digistore24 review and the ClickBank review. CopeCart is the other merchant of record here, and it is built for high-ticket sales.
The pages linked above are CartPanda's. Comments from buyers and sellers are on Trustpilot, Capterra and Reddit, quoted further down. This site has not processed a sale on CartPanda. The research method is the same on every review.
CartPanda customer service
Buyers reach CartPanda at support@cartpanda.com and +1-866-637-2482. Sellers reach it at seller@cartpanda.com. All three are on the contact page. Put the order ID in the first email so support can find the charge.
What works
- One-page and three-step checkouts, with order bumps and one-click upsells after the purchase
- CartPanda is the company on the buyer's charge, with a published order lookup, refund windows and a phone number
- Basics is free for affiliates and for a store before launch, and the homepage says you can open an account with no credit card
- The US pricing page lists the monthly fee and the per-sale rate on the page itself
What to watch
- Paid plans add a monthly fee on top of a high percentage of each sale
- If the buyer gets a refund, CartPanda keeps the platform transaction fee
- CartPanda Pay holds a reserve, and the contract sets the number of days until a payout
- Trustpilot buyers report fast refunds and also partial or refused ones
- A Capterra review calls the features buggy, and vendor reviews outside CartPanda's own site are thin
What a vendor gives up
The monthly fee sits on top of a percentage of each sale. If the buyer gets a refund, CartPanda keeps its transaction fee. CartPanda Pay also keeps a rolling reserve. The affiliates are CartPanda's own.
What buyers and sellers report
Research: unverifiedBuyer refund disputes and subscription billing
Trustpilot reviews include a refund refused about 15 minutes after an accidental purchase, an offer of 35% of the price after almost four weeks, a charge the reviewer says was not refunded, and a buyer who got a fast cancellation and refund.
“THIS IS ABSOLUTE FRAUD! MY 93 year old mother accidental clicked on it while watching a movie. I IMMEDIATELY CALLED WHEN I RECEIVED THE EMAIL CONFIRMATION OF THE CHARGE. THEY REFUSED TO ISSUE ANY REFUND EVEN THOUGH IT HAS ONLY BEEN 15 MINUTES!”
“They kept putting me off and now it's almost 4 weeks, and they offered to refund 35% of the original price, not full refund as stated in their published policy.”
“They have charge my account and will not refund the money.”
“quick to respond and process my cancellation and refund”
Reserves, payouts and seller fund holds
A Reddit comment groups CartPanda with Hotmart and Digistore24 for blocking sellers or holding funds in higher-risk digital categories, sometimes without a clear timeline.
“Hotmart, Cartpanda, and Digistore24 can block sellers or hold funds in higher-risk digital categories, sometimes without a clear timeline.”
Few vendor reviews on other sites
Capterra shows two reviews. The March 2025 review says many features are buggy and do not line up with the data in the account.
“many features are buggy and don't line up with actual data.”
A fast refund, a partial refund, and a buggy dashboard
On Trustpilot, one buyer wrote that support was "quick to respond and process my cancellation and refund".
Another buyer, on a later page of the same profile, wrote that after almost four weeks "they offered to refund 35% of the original price". The reviewer put that 35% offer next to the full refund in the published policy. The same profile includes a refund refused about 15 minutes after an accidental click. Some buyers get a fast refund. Others report a partial offer or a refusal.
On the vendor side, a Capterra review dated 14 March 2025 says "many features are buggy and don't line up with actual data." Capterra has two reviews, a short record next to the case studies CartPanda publishes.
A Reddit thread on high-risk digital gateways says: "Hotmart, Cartpanda, and Digistore24 can block sellers or hold funds in higher-risk digital categories, sometimes without a clear timeline." The reserve in the next section is a scheduled hold, with a number of days attached. The Reddit comment describes a block that arrives with no date given.
CartPanda pricing for vendors
The US pricing page lists five plans. Basics is the free tier for affiliates and for a store before launch. Paid plans charge a monthly fee, a percentage of the sale, and a flat amount on every order. That flat amount stays at $1 from Light through Advanced. The percentage decreases as the monthly fee increases.
| Plan | Monthly fee | Per sale |
|---|---|---|
| Basics | $0 | Affiliates or pre-launch |
| Light | $0.99 | 9.9% + $1 |
| Starter | $29 | 9.5% + $1 |
| Premium | $99 | 9% + $1 |
| Advanced | $299 | 8.5% + $1 |
CartPanda's billing help article states that platform transaction fees are billed weekly on Mondays. If an approved order is later refunded, CartPanda keeps the platform transaction fee. The monthly plan is billed on its own, apart from that Monday invoice.
The fees help article puts international CartPanda Pay processing at 8.5% to 9.9% plus R$1.50, outside the US plan table.
Digistore24's competitor table uses the band in the rows above and sets it against Digistore24's own starting rate of 2.9% + $1, with no monthly fee. CopeCart prices EU orders with its own formula. Both are in the Digistore24 vs CopeCart comparison. The fee calculator covers the networks in the ranking. CartPanda's monthly plans are outside that calculator. Read the plans in the table above, or on the CartPanda fee page.
Payouts, reserves and chargebacks
CartPanda's reserve help article sets a standard reserve of 5% on a domestic order and 10% on an international order. Each reserve is held for 90 days. The fees help article also describes a 10% rolling reserve on international receivables for those same 90 days, and says payouts are typically released 2 to 14 calendar days after payment confirmation. The vendor's contract sets the day the payout is released, between 2 and 14 days after the payment confirms.
The chargeback help article lists three fees: $18 when the dispute rate is under 1%, $24 from 1.0% to 1.49%, and $30 at 1.5% and above. The disputed amount is also taken out of the vendor's balance. The chargeback and refund rules and the refund and chargeback calculator cover the ranked networks. The three CartPanda fees are the dollar amounts in this paragraph.
The payout timeline covers those ranked networks too. On CartPanda Pay, the reserve and the release window are the figures in the paragraph above. A vendor who wants the sale in their own Stripe or PayPal on the day the buyer pays should read the JVZoo review and the WarriorPlus review. With JVZoo and WarriorPlus, the sale lands in the vendor's own payment account.
Six affiliate networks sit in the ranking. They charge per sale and compete on affiliate reach. CartPanda's paid plans include a monthly subscription fee. That review is on the review list.
